TASL is excited to announce we do not have to cancel our Summer PD – the TASL Road Trip is going virtual! Registration is open and we have six whole days packed with great sessions. You can access as many sessions as you would like for one low price of $20 per person. This offer is only open to members, but you can still renew your membership before you register if needed. TASL Road Trip Schedule
Click here to register and view a tentative session schedule for the TASL Road Trip. We are excited to offer outstanding sessions presented by our amazing TASL members and we have several authors who will be joining us to present!
Please know that the schedule is subject to change as we work quickly to firm up all the details. This is our first time doing a digital workshop and we are very excited, but ask for you your patience as we tackle this unknown territory.
The first week of June we will send emails to all PD registrants with specifics on how to sign up for sessions and instructions for accessing each workshop in Zoom.
How will it all work?
On the day and time of the sessions you select, you will use the links to enter the Zoom meeting. The moderator will check the list and allow you in if you signed up for the session. So, be sure to use the same name on your registration as you will use on your Zoom account.
You will be able to interact with presenters in the chat and live during the Zoom session as they structure their session. Please be respectful of each presenter and follow their guidelines.
How can I get credit for the hours I attend?
You will be sent a survey after each session is completed that you must fill out in order to receive your certificate. After you complete the survey for EACH session, you will receive the certificate for that 1 hour PD session through email.
Again, you are able to attend as many sessions as you would like on any of the days offered for one registration fee.
How can I help?
We are in need of moderators for each session during the TASL Road Trip. As a moderator, you would be responsible for letting people into the session from the waiting room, assisting the presenter, and monitoring the chat. We will do a training session prior to Summer PD to ensure everyone is comfortable.
If you can help us out for a session or two, signup using this form. Please sign up by Wednesday, June 3rd. You will receive an email verifying the sessions you sign up for.
